Bluefin worked with Walchem to develop Fluent, a remote monitoring and reporting system which is fully synchronized with Walchem’s web based controllers, allowing for simple, fast and remote communications for all new and existing controllers. Walchem is known for having top of the line controllers, that operate and monitor a range of pumps and treatment processes. Bluefin worked to help surface that information in an easy to use, live, way for customers who need to react fast and with certainty to keep water safe. Combining Bluefin’s expertise in IoT, cloud computing and user experience with the water treatment experience of Walchem, we were able to create the “Fluent” website, which will be helping water treaters for the foreseeable future.
With a goal to enhance the bond between pets and owners, LINK AKC was born. By tapping into The American Kennel Club's 132 years of devotion to dog research, its rich history and the most cutting edge wireless technology available, the Bluefin team was able to deliver an award-winning product that enhances the relationship between us and our most cherished companions.
Bluefin and the team at BluStream spent 9 months developing, refining, and bringing to market a revolutionary low energy Bluetooth® sensor. With two working prototypes, the team successfully created a crowd-funding campaign through Kickstarter that received orders from over 400 consumers. Our efforts caught the attention of two industry giants – Taylor Guitars and D’Addario who both understood the need for more advanced protection of fine musical instruments.
The Bluefin team worked in partnership with eCornell to redesign their web presence to enhance the quality of the user experience and focus on function, intuitive design, and engagement. eCornell was looking to enhance their position in the online learning marketplace by making their information more accessible and easy to navigate as well as update their site aesthetic to compliment Cornell University site and make their interface mobile friendly.
One simple wish
Bluefin worked with One Simple Wish to re-platform the entire donating application, allowing One Simple Wish to have access to an abundance of features previously unattainable. Bluefin also designed an entirely new user experience for visitors to One Simple Wish’s site.
Bluefin engaged with Spaaza’s product team and their customers to architect the key performance indicators and dashboards of its SAAS offering. Bluefin provided Spaaza with a real-time, multi-channel, analysis tool that highlighted trends and curves critical to the retail decision making process.
Speed star auto transport
The Bluefin team worked with Speed Star to create a dynamic, but complex Alexa skill where users could get timely and accurate quotes about safely shipping their vehicle. Bluefin created an Alexa skill that creates quotes, takes customer inquiries and informs about booking information. Bluefin saved Speed Star’s time by providing more resources to handle client inbound requests.
The Bluefin team recently teamed up with Radius by Turf Health, LLC to develop a robust mobile application for ophthalmologists. Through an Agile development process, we delivered a mobile application that helps manage the relationships with and around ophthalmologists.
The Worcester Blades needed a Voice Skill that could better interact and engage with their fans. They wanted a fun, interactive way that they could connect with their fans. The Bluefin team crafted a dynamic skill that could push live scores, up to date schedule, promotions, and player interviews.

The Bluefin team worked with Shady Tree Landscaping, a top New England landscaping service business with over 30 years of experience. With a need to update their outdated website, Shady Tree called the Bluefin team to help them redesign their website and optimize their marketing strategies with SEO and blogging content. Bluefin redesigned their website while updating their content, making the website tablet and mobile friendly, and improving their SEO and Google Analytics.
