Business Development Executive

Bluefin Technology Partners is a leading Digital Product and Service Consultancy that specializes in software development, connected products (IoT), and Voice Application development. We think, design and build like start-up entrepreneurs, but have years of experience to back up our development.

The Sales and Business Development Executive will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers and will be developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. This is an individual contributor sales role.

You will be client facing and will be responsible for driving high-quality sales through deal shaping, negotiation, and contract closure. Additionally, the role will involve multiple activities like target the right clients, grow quality pipeline, win profitable deals, manage sales activities with the objective of creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships that create value, coordinating all required internal resources, management of the solution/proposition development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role

  • Previous experience in direct sales/account management in Technology consulting

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and Strong technical acumen

  • Must be resilient and excel in a fast-paced, high energy, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

  • Track record of achieving sales quotas

  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)

  • Ability to craft and deliver engaging presentations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team.

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and contact potential clients through cold calls and emails

  • Identify client needs, suggest appropriate products and services and customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction

  • Understand customer business requirements and be able to translate them into technical requirements.

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

  • Develop Proposals and SOW, assist account teams in effectively packaging, pricing, and presenting solution to customer along with additional duties as assigned.

  • Prospect, sell and close business into Large Enterprise accounts in assigned region

  • Be a strong sales hunter, maintain and foster long standing client relationships

  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional and cultural groups, and build strategic relationships with client and partner teams to further penetrate existing and prospective clients

  • Ability to interact and position solutions at various levels throughout the security organization; including technical, director, VP, CxO levels.

  • Individual should be located within the New England area and able to establish presence and client relationships with the territory.

  • Have deep sales process expertise with strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with key client buyers and decision-makers at new and/or existing clients.

  • Provide solutions to complex business problems to create value for the client.

  • Be able to collaborate effectively across areas of Bluefin’s business to develop service and commercial proposals.

  • Manage small sized teams and/or work efforts.

Social Media Content & Digital Marketing Manager

The Social Media Content and Digital Marketing Manager will be developing content marketing programs from ideation to launch, including, but not be limited to, blogs, whitepapers and reports, social media, landing pages, emails, market research trends, customer success stories, and more.

You will primarily be dedicated to developing and aligning all our social media outlets to maximize our presence in the market. You will also partner with internal teams to identify data driven stories and digital marketing trends into easy-to-understand and enjoyable to read copy. Additionally, you will devise and execute marketing plans and building brand/company awareness on all social media platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Social Media or relevant field

  • 1 to 3 years of content marketing, social media strategy, digital marketing, content creation and/or public relations experience that focused on writing for public consumption

  • Experience creating content for web and able to demonstrate the impact of growing a social audience

  • Keen understanding of ad tech space, specifically affiliate marketing, pragmatic and paid search channels

  • Ability to research and write thought leadership, providing unique content that furthers the Bluefin Brand and services we provide to our clients

  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance

  • Creative, with reality-based business acumen - able to identify and meet customer needs

  • Research business and industry trends and build a robust content strategy that meets the needs of the business

  • Author white papers, case studies and relevant content

  • Work with team to build out case studies for advertisers and publishers and expand distribution for various marketing purposes

  • Oversee social strategy by developing messaging in the blog and social that pushes forward our brand initiatives

  • Liaison with public relations agency to ensure that content messages, social and PR are aligned

Technical Project Manager

We are currently looking to expand our team of IoT experts with an exceptional individual with a passion for developing the internet of things. This person will join our team of IoT engineers who are passionate about using extraordinary efforts to deliver quality products to our growing list of clients. In this role you will work as a Technical Project Manager. This position is responsible for threading the needle between the needs of our customers and the IoT Engineers at Bluefin. You spend most of your time working with our customers to understand their needs and then translating them into actionable plans that the IoT engineers can execute. You will be the voice of the customer for Bluefin. This role will involve the management of multiple projects and will aid Bluefin in developing lasting relationships with our clients and partners.

To be successful in this position, you will need a technical background in software or hardware development with great leadership skills, a meticulous eye for detail, superb organizational and time management skills, and be someone who can work well with our team in multiple time zones. 

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and practical applications of Agile methodologies

  • Must have 2+ years of experience in the field working with customers

Alexa Developer Intern

As a voice application developer intern, you will be responsible for helping complete tasks assigned by the technical project lead and project manager. You will become responsible for assisting in the development lifecycle of several voice applications currently in development and support those in production. Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of JSON

  • Familiar with AWS services such as Lambda, and SES and how to read and implement documentation relating to the service

  • Strength in reading documentation that is language agnostic (ex. A JSON response that needs to be applied with a language such as node.js)

  • Familiar with Voice Design best practices and VUI design

  • Have a strong understanding of OOP and be proficient in at least one language

  • Knowledge of how to make external API calls asynchronously

Technical Marketing Intern

Bluefin Technology Partners is looking for a knowledgeable, technology focused Intern to assist in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans which span multiple disciplines including, Public Relations, Content Marketing, and Social Media Marketing. You will be asked to implement inbound marketing tactics to generate site traffic using social media engagement. The content generated will focus heavily on the local high tech sector, and specifically on the Internet of Things (IoT). You will also be responsible for curating, writing, and designing various forms of marketing materials that will be used in corporate marketing campaigns that tie back to Bluefin’s technical expertise and service offerings.
